A one day Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training workshop has been held in the Lawra Municipality of the Upper West Region of Ghana for teachers on Productivity and Time Management.
The training, organized by Global Life Changers, an NTC accredited service provider in conjunction with the Municipal Education Directorate was aimed at equipping and empowering the Ghanaian Teacher and by extension the Ghanaian Child with the requisite productivity and time Management skills for teacher professional development and school effectiveness.
The participants numbering over 60 were taken through several practical tools, techniques and time management principles to be able to maximize instructional contact hours with the students.
The Lead Consultant, who also doubles as the Executive Director of Foundation for Global Life Changers, Mr James Ziekye inspired and challenged participants by graphically demonstrating the relationship between effective time management and productivity both at the personal and corporate level.
The seminar was held at the Lawra Senior High School where the Head Master, Naa Alhaji Seidu Tungbani underscored the importance of Teacher Continuous Professional Development.
He emphasized that such CPD trainings are mandatory and indeed needed in the current dispensation of our profession to make sure teachers’ skills and knowledge are upgraded for promotion and license renewal.
Naa Tungbani reminded them that in the near future no one could practice as a teacher without a license and that the license will enable teachers get into other endeavors admonishing them to take the training seriously.
On his part, Mr Ziekye stressed that Global Life Changers as a renowned global training organization is not only known for its impactful and life transforming training services but also expeditious award of points and certificates when it comes CPD activities.
