Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri, the Municipal Chief Executive for Jirapa, has revealed that the abandoned Hain Market project started by Former President John Agyekum Kuffour’s administration will soon be completed.
According to him, government has terminated the old contract and has advanced processes for the project to be re-awarded to a new contractor.
He made the revelation when he spoke on Jirapa Fm’s The Political Sight programme on Monday.
“As we speak we have started the procurement process for the construction of the Hain market. It won’t take long; I’ll soon handover site for the construction of Hain market.”
Not long ago residents in Hain appealed to the government through the Jirapa MCE to complete the market project to further boost economic activities in the area.
Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri also revealed on the programme that he will soon handover site for construction of Dam at Bookpieriyiri.
