Stalwart of the rulling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and cousin of the president, Nana Akuffo-Addo, Gabby Asaare Otchere-Darko, has announced his retirement from domestic politics myxyzonline.com has reported.
Mr. Okyere-Darko, who is also a legal practitioner says the NPP as a party has failed to effectively tout the achievements of the government over the years in spite of the challenges facing it, saving the ordinary Ghanaian from queuing for essential and basic commodities.
He mentioned some of the challenges that militated against the government such as the Banking crisis, problems manufacturers faced and the challenges of retailers in the country as some of the hurdles the government overcame and yet these are not being communicated to the Ghanaian populace.
He expressed frustration about situation which has informed his decision to retire from domestic politics.
