Barely a week after the gruesome murder of the owner and CEO of Royal Cosy hill Hotel and Resort also known as Jirapa Dubai Mr. Eric Johnson by some unknown assailants on the 11th of February, residents have been living in fear.
Speaking to the media in a press engagement on the 19th of February, 2024, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Jirapa Municipality on behalf of the Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) assured residents and visitors who wish to come into the municipality of their outmost security, stating that MUSEC has taken measures to ensure the security of both residents and visitors.
Hon. Nicholas Soyiri also indicated to the media that MUSEC held a meeting with the management of the facility to strategize to put in place, measures to ensure the safety of people who will be visiting the facility.
