The Jirapa Area Youth And Development Association (JAYDA), has added its voice to “unequivocally condemn” the murder of Mr. Eric Johnson, CEO the Royal Cosy Hills Hotel here in Jirapa which sad event occurred on February 11th, 2024.
JAYDA added its condemnation to others through a press release co-signed by its National Chairman and National Secretary, Musah Cheyuo and Sebastian Languon respectively describing the act as regrettable, shocking and traumatic to the people of Jirapa and the whole world.
The release elucidated the entrepreneurial prowess of Mr. Johnson and how it has brought the town of Jirapa into the limelight by expanding tourism and offering employment to the teaming youth in the area and beyond.
The release also acknowledged the positive role Mr. Johnson played in advancing numerous programmes and projects in the area through his philanthropic nature.
JAYDA is however appreciative that some arrests have been made a suspects have been put before a court to unravel the dastardly act and is entreating all and sundry to lend support to the investigative bodies to bring the perpetrator(s) to book.
It is entreating everyone to remain calm and also volunteer information, no matter how remote it is.
