‎The management of Upper West Centre for National Culture (CNC) has called on the government to provide a proper office space to improve their work because the current setup is affecting its work.

‎The Upper West Regional CNC Administrator, Chief Seidu Bomison said the Centre has been operating g without a suitable office facilities.

‎The Centre once operated from the Wa Airport building but was moved to the Ministry Block B, where working conditions are not suitable.

‎A 1,500-seat theatre next to the airport, started in 2008, remains unfinished although promises by previous administrations to fix it have been made.

‎The project has been stalled for nine years, casting doubts as to when it will be completed.

‎The Centre plays a key role in preserving the region’s culture and management urging the government to act decisively in salvaging the situation by providing suitable office accommodation among other needs to help promote the presentation of our local heritage.

‎Personalities present at the media engagement were the Regional Director, Human Resource Lead, Administrator, Head of Programmes, and the regional Public Relations Officer.
