Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Jirapa in the Upper West Region has reiterated calls for unity among supporters of the party ahead of the parliamentary primaries.

Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri who is seeking to be elected as the NPP parliamentary canidate made these comments at his residence on Sunday, 16th July, 2023 when a group of party supporters presented a nomination form they picked on his behalf to him.

He said the NPP can only ‘break the 8’ when there is unity before, during and after the parliamentary primaries.

“As we go back to our various communities from here, all of you are my campaign managers. You have all seen what I have done for the party’s growth in Jirapa and indeed the party is growing strongly in Jirapa. Let us unite and work hard for the party to win the 2024 general election.”

A group of Electoral Area Coordinators, polling station executives and some constituency executives endorsed the Jirapa MCE as the suitable candidate for the NPP parliamentary primaries.

The group believes that Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri who became the MCE for Jirapa barely three years ago has brought tremendous development to the municipality and expressed hope that he would do even better when he gets the nod to represent the constituency in parliament.

Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri is the second to pick nomination form after Hajia Ayisha Salifu, Deputy CEO of the Zongo Development Fund.
