The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Jirapa, Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri is expressing optimism in his chances of winning the upcoming NPP parliamentary primaries in the Jirapa Constituency.
Speaking on The Political Sight on Jirapa Fm, Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri mentioned that he is going to win the election with a wide margin.
“They will mention Hon. Nicholas Soyiri winner of the election. The gap will be wide. I’ll win with a margin of 98 percent, but I don’t know whether other people will come but as things stands now I’m confident I’m going to get 98 percent of the total votes.”
So far two individuals, Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri and Hajia Ayisha Salifu have picked forms to compete in the New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary primaries for the Jirapa constituency.
Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri stated that he may review the 98 percent margin if other candidates join the race but for now he has strong confidence in his 98 percent winning margin.
He called on delegates to maintain a respectful and issue-based campaign devoid of insults.
