The NDC women’s wing in Sissala East led by the Regional women organizer Prisca Domonyevi Kumpo, Constituency women organizer Nyame Mercy , deputy Constituency women organizer Madam Sahada Gomina, Constituency youth organizer Mr. Harun Bankuoro, and some representatives from the woman and youth wing were all present to do the presentation.
The items presented included gallons of liquid soap, t-roll, soft drinks, and other detergents, they were worth several hundred. They were presented to the maternity ward to climax their celebration of happy mother’s Day, the regional women organizer did the presentation on behalf of the group and promised to come back another time. Madam Prisca Domonyevi said women were important and they in NDC will do more to protect women, she said it was in line with that Former president John Mahama picked a woman as his running mate.
Speaking to the Constituency women organizer Madam Mercy Nyame , she said it was their second time they were visiting the women’s ward. She said they once donated detergents to the same unit to help them keep the maternity block neat and free from infectious, madam Naana Mercy said they will do more as the months and weeks pass by.
