A health care provider that provides alternative health solutions to its clients by offering them herbal based remedies to health problems have paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of the Jirapa traditional area, Naa Dinaa Donglabong Ganaa III at his palace.

KIINA herbal centre say they treat their clients with herbal based medication reallying on over five thousand years experience of research, offering alternative solutions to western medicine.

Dr. Emmanuel Atakorah, Upper West Regional Director for Kiina Health Centre explained to Naa Ganaa III that the mission of the team’s visit to his palace was to introduce themselves and also to inform traditional rulers of their intention of commencing work in the Jirapa Municipality.

He said they were already operational in Gwollu in the Sissala West and Nandom in the Nandom Municipality respectively and various parts of the country.

He added that their purpose of setting camp in Jirapa is because they realized that a sizable number of clients in their two operational areas come from t5 Jirapa area and that opening an office and centre here will go a long way to cut cost to the people whilst providing the needed convenience.

Throwing more light on their operations, Dr. Atakorah says they employ cutting edge modern technology in diagnosing ailments of the body from the “head to the toe” without the client telling them what their health issues are which he says comes free of charge.

He explained that although the diagnosis are free, the client will have to pay for the health products that may be required to cure their ailments and that they are looking up to being part of the solutions in improving the quality of health in the municipality.

On his part, Naa Ganaa III offered them a warm welcome to his palace and to Jirapa and added that they should feel at home in their dealings if only they are here to offer genuine services.

He lamented that it is regrettable the extent to which some people and organizations can go, offering quack services in search of quick money at the expense of the health of unsuspecting clients, a situation he says he would not tolerate.

He said the people of Jirapa are a peace loving people who are excellent in offering hospitality and hosting of non-natives citing the Catholic Church as an example whom he says have peacefully coexisted with the people of Jirapa for a century without any untoward issues since their arrival in Jirapa.

He said as father of the Jirapa traditional area, he has been striving for only the best for his people and the residents of Jirapa and would be happy if their services would be beneficial to the people.

He commended the team for the visit saying that he is positive that they have good intentions for Jirapa by first making their presence and intentions known and he hopes they have nothing negative to hide.

He assured them that his audience and palace are always open to them anytime they so wished.

They are scheduled to begin operations in the next few weeks.
