The annual mock examination for candidates of the upcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) commenced across all Junior High Schools in the Daffiama, Bussie, Issa District.
The Member of Parliament (MP), Hon Sebastian Sandaare has been sponsoring mock examination in the DBI constituency since the year 2017 to enhance the quality of the results of BECE in DBI.
According to the MP, it is part of his humble commitment to support these students to prepare adequately and come out successfully in the final examination, saying “The foundation is key and we must invest in them now.”
Through the representatives of the legislator who monitored the smooth start of the exams, he challenged the candidates to do their best by using their time judiciously for a better future.
He also reiterates his commitment to advancing education in the District, the reason he continuously sponsors students from the District at various levels of education to make their future better. Human resource development according to him is indispensable, if we really want to transform our District.
The Ghana Education Service showed its appreciation to Hon Sebastian Sandaare for his continuous support to the Directorate in diverse ways. According to the Directorate, the MP’s mock has been impactful in the preparation of candidates over the years.
The Member of Parliament wishes to thank all the teachers and officers of the Directorate of the GES who for the upliftment of education in the District.
This year, a total number of 452 candidates consisting of 204 boys and 248 girls are currently writing the mock examination. The examination is expected to end on the 21st of June, 2024.
